Legal
Privacy policy
This website sets no tracking cookies, uses no analytics and embeds no advertising networks. Whatever data still arises is set out below.
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is:
- Operator
- Kokolores Events — Manuel Michel
- Address
- Street and number, Postal code City, Germany
- mail@fly-kokolores.net
2. Legal bases
We process personal data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG):
- Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of this website
- Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR — handling enquiries, in particular bookings
- Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR — where you give explicit consent, for example when loading an external player
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by a service provider within the EU. When a page is requested, the web server automatically collects the information your browser transmits (server log files):
- shortened IP address (or the full IP address while it is required for attack detection)
- date and time of access
- the file or page requested and the amount of data transferred
- the referrer transmitted, plus browser type and operating system
This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individuals. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically fault-free operation and the security of the website. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
Add the hosting provider with its registered office and the location of the data centre.
4. Audio files and cover images
The cover images are served by this website itself, together with all other design assets. No connection to third parties arises from this.
The audio files are different: they are loaded from our podcast server (Podcast server / domain). Only when you play an episode does your browser open a connection to that server; among other things your IP address is transmitted so that the file can be delivered. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR — without this transmission playback is technically impossible.
The podcast is not delivered via this website if you use a podcast app: in that case the privacy policies of the respective app apply.
5. Embedded podcast players (Apple Podcasts)
A player from Apple Podcasts can be embedded on the podcast page. When that player loads, data — including your IP address, information about your browser and operating system, and the page you visited — is transmitted to Apple. The provider is Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland.
The player is embedded using the two-click principle: it loads only once you explicitly click “Load player”. Until then no connection to Apple is made and no data is transmitted there. Your decision applies only to the current page view; it is not stored.
If you would rather avoid this entirely, simply use the built-in player on this website or the RSS feed — both work completely without Apple. The legal basis for loading the player after your click is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent through the active step); for the rest of the page working, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
More information: the Apple privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
6. Links to external platforms
This website links to platforms such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Mixcloud, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Podchaser, Podcast Addict, Audible and the Linkfire hub. These are ordinary links only — a connection to the respective provider's servers is established, and your IP address transmitted there, only once you click. Those providers are responsible for processing on their side; their privacy policies apply.
We embed no social media plugins, no like buttons and no tracking pixels.
7. Getting in touch
If you write to us by email, we process your email address and the content of the message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries (such as bookings) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for other enquiries.
The data remains with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies — as a rule until the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively — and is deleted afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this. Please note that unencrypted email communication can generally be intercepted.
8. Fonts
This website uses the typefaces Inter and Space Grotesk. Both are served locally from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other font service takes place, and no data is transferred to third parties in the process.
9. Cookies, tracking and advertising
This website sets no cookies for analysis or marketing purposes, uses no tracking services, no web analytics and no advertising networks. There is therefore no cookie banner either. No technically necessary storage takes place; the website works entirely without storing anything in your browser.
10. Your rights
You have the following rights towards us regarding your personal data:
- right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
- right to withdraw consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
An email to mail@fly-kokolores.net is enough to exercise them.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible is the one for the federal state of our registered office or of your habitual residence.
11. Encryption
For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar and the padlock symbol in your browser.
12. Updates
This privacy policy is adjusted as soon as data processing or the legal framework changes.
